Greetings from Ukraine πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦!
At this difficult time for our country, we decided to wrap our unique internal instrument into friendly interface and share it with you to raise as much money as possible to help our fellow citizens, as well as to support our craft business.

board.monster - end grain cutting boards design beast for professionals

This application was developed for coworkers by a woodworker, who is a programmer also, initially for internal use.
Synergy of skills made it possible to implement everything needed to design end grain boards and manage all the main stages of its production.

Proven in real business - it works!

Main Features

Modelling

Almost any end grain cutting board can be modelled (including difficult patterns). You can use any number of panels and wood types, as well as any number of designs. You can also use pre-designed layouts and wood types.

Estimating

You can estimate your consumption & waste of wood and other materials (like glue) for each design, panel and overall boards quantity. You can also plan your production schedule and manage your production process.

Exporting & Printing

You can export your designs to PDF and print them later on any pinter. Each document will contain all the necessary information about your design, including all the materials and production scheme.

Reusing & Modifying

You can reuse your designs and panels in other designs as templates. You can also reuse your predefined wood types in other designs. This will save you a lot of time and effort and will give you unique flexibility.

TODO:

positive thinking: longer war β€Ί more raid alerts β€Ί more time for new features β€Ί more donations β€Ί quicker victory πŸ™ƒ
  • undo / redo
  • wood textures
  • composite panels cuts (like in reality) instead of manually drawn polygonized planks (more research is needed)
  • "freezing" the maximum length of bars during the calculations of the total amount of material needed
  • total cost and planned production time (cycle / gantt diagram - more research is needed)
  • more creative options:
    • semi - realtime visual polygon editor
    • mathematical operations with the thickness of planks in the panels (as in rows)
    • inheritance of rows (similar to the inheritance of planks in panels)

And you are welcome to propose in which direction would you like this project be developed further.

As far as we already started this project, we are / will responsibly support and develop it further with / for you.

Best wishes, CUBO team.
